Hey, friends, I’m running a sale on all my scripts this week! For those of you planning this year’s school play or your church’s Christmas drama, I have almost 20 scripts available in the Shop, and they’re all 30% off through Saturday at midnight!

Today’s a good day, guys. I get to introduce you to a new play script!
Say hello to League of Heroes.
You know my short skit Team Hero, which I published this past February? League of Heroes is like Team Hero on steroids.
I didn’t know if an audio blooper reel was possible, but behold, here it be! Since today, yea, even the 6th of July, is the fifth birthday of Kittywham Productions, I put together this outtakes sequence as a little piece of fun to celebrate. Hope you get a good chuckle out of it!
I recently finished reading Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel Wives and Daughters. It’s a wise and winsome story, and I look forward to reviewing it on the podcast in a few weeks.
Thought-provoking themes and characters abound in the novel, but today I just want to share a small, unobtrusive insight buried in the middle of the book.
There’s a place in Hebrews (quoting from the Psalms) that reads, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” (Heb. 1:10-12)
Time flies when you’re trapped at home, am I right?
Haha.
Still though, I didn’t realize it had been a whole month since I last posted on the blog. I’ve been working so hard on my podcast (not to mention wrapping up teaching for the semester) that I’ve neglected the poor blog. So here I am to touch base and share an update, especially on how the podcast has been going.
I’ll take any excuse I can get to talk about books. COVID-19 quarantine seemed a great time to start a new project, so, obviously, the first thing that occurred to me was “I could start a book review podcast,” and so I did.
I told you back in January this would be an exciting year for Kittywham! Of the many projects I’ve been working on this spring, making DVD recordings of past productions has been one of my top priorities, and it’s been a ton of fun.
Big news, guys. We’re releasing a new script this week, The Return of Ben Morgenstern, which was premiered just last December. But this is different from any play we’ve published before.
I’m offering customization services for this script!
It’s release day for a brand-new script! I’m proud of myself for not having let anything slip about this before now. This is just the first of several projects I have going this year, and I’m excited to get to share this one with you now!
