Summer is making me so happy because I’m finding more time to read! Between twilit evenings when I can just sit and savor a few chapters and Saturdays I spend baking or painting while listening to an audiobook, I am thoroughly enjoying the extra helpings of literature I’ve gotten this June.
The first week of June means a new post in my What I’ve Been Reading series! (You can find last month’s installment here.) Below is a rundown of the books (and music) I encountered in May and what I thought of each.
In last year’s poll, many of you expressed interest in hearing more book recommendations, and my April post about What I’d Been Reading for the first three months of 2019 was received well. So, I’ve decided tentatively to install a regular post where I’ll share with you my thoughts on the books I’ve read each month (and the music I’ve listened to—keep reading!).
