The (Reimagined) Book of Daniel

In The (Reimagined) Book of Daniel, four young captives in a kingdom of violence must rely on their friendship and their faith in God to pull them through intense trials. With the king’s counselors determined to undermine their influence in the royal court, Daniel and his three friends repeatedly face temptation and the possibility of death. Ultimately, however, each challenge only strengthens their trust in God.

The play has a cast of 19 characters (some doubling is possible) and runs about 45 minutes in performance. Check out our Book of Daniel Pinterest board to view photos from past productions!

The (Reimagined) Book of Daniel is delightfully entertaining with its addition of the ditsy Daria, the Queen. While clearly and passionately presenting Daniel’s faithfulness to his God, I especially enjoyed Rachelle’s insight that allowed the Bible characters to be real, very human and vulnerable, yet victorious, in the time of testing.”
